Marketing Manager Europe


This position reports directly to the President of Europe at Tritium BV and is based at Tritium EU Headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 

The Marketing Manager Europe (MME) will be the responsible of the day to day regional marketing activities including developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones. The MME will work closely with Tritium colleagues in Europe (e.g. Sales Department) and Tritium HQ (Australia) to drive the best results. 


Key responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Working closely with the President of Europe, Sales Director Europe, Director Business Development Europe and corporate team to develop the commercial strategy, deliver sales growth and meet revenue targets
  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Prepare on a yearly basis together with Sales and Business Development the investment and participation plan on events, exhibitions, conferences and other business opportunities
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, event management, PR, social media, lead generation campaigns, etc.
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and LinkedIn profile that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate  funds wisely
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from roll-ups to hard copy brochures and case  studies
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions  are kept informed of marketing objectives
  • Execute market analysis (segmentation, sizing, geographic mapping, etc.)
  • Formulate, direct and coordinate marketing activities and policies to promote products  and services, in coordination with HQ


  • Proven track record of marketing understanding (analysis, design, implementation)
  • Solid experience in strategy and execution of cross channel marketing
  • Experience will have come from B2B (industrial) companies in a fast-paced growing / changing environment
  • Process and people focused
  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative skill sets to understand and manage data including audience segmentation, insights development, and performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Ability to coordinate different stakeholders to achieve deadlines
  • Outstanding leadership and interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to quickly understand and nurture relationships with relevant strategic partners throughout the value chain building excellent relationships at various levels
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up culture & appreciation of cultural diversity through working for multinational companies, foreign assignments and/or having lived abroad
  • University degree in Marketing or Engineering / Business Administration complemented with Marketing studies
  • Excellent verbal and written command of English is mandatory, German and/or French is considered a plus
  • Willing to national and international trips up to 20% of the time
