The WaveSculptor three-phase motor controller (20kW and 40kW versions). The WaveSculptor controller was used by one third of solar racing teams in the 2007 World Solar Challenge, with six of the top ten finishers using the WaveSculptor.

Power system for a 14kW tidal power generator. This work was undertaken for an external client and we were able to save development time and cost by adapting the existing WaveSculptor technology for this application.

Active battery management system for a 340V lead acid battery pack. The system allows batteries to be balanced while under any load condition.

'Gold' motor controller (6kW 3 phase controller + 75W DC-DC flyback). The predecessor to the WaveSculptor, known as the Gold Controller, is a 10kW motor controller that was first used in 2001 by Australian solar car teams and has since been used successfully by numerous local and international teams. It's reputation as a reliable, efficient and affordable drive system is well-earned and has cemented Tritium as one of Australia's leading suppliers of light-EV motor controllers.

A 2kW electric push bike motor controller. This project was an application of the Gold controller technology as a customised solution. This controller was a small passport-sized device that provided assistance to the rider when they were pedalling.

High efficiency 0.5V to 12V DC-DC converters for use in a biological fuel cell. Processing power efficiently at 0.5V is extremely difficult, yet Tritium managed to achieve >60% efficiency in this application.

A three-phase, 42V motor controller for extremely low inductance motors. This was a university research project proposed and funded by Tritium.

A 200W alternator voltage regulator for underground mining vehicles. This system was designed to regulate voltage from a standard vehicle alternator without the use of a battery to initiate the field current.

Solar powered backlit advertising sign. Designed for high efficiency to maximise the run time and minimise required battery capacity.

Custom designed audio playback device used in sporting memorabilia. We have developed both high quality and low cost audio versions using different digital storage and playback methods.

600 Amp DC active switch. Used to remotely route current through a test specimen in a laboratory situation.
