Gold BLDC Controller

The Tritium Gold Power Controller is a complete electric / solar vehicle control system in one unit. It provides a highly reliable, ultra-high-efficiency 3 phase brushless motor drive, with an integrated power supply, powerful DSP processor, advanced diagnostics and sensing, and over 25 channels of telemetry and self monitoring data.

RS485 Driver Controls

This product has been superceded by the CAN Driver Controls product, used with the Wavesculptor motor controller, and is no longer in production or available for sale.

The Tritium Gold Driver Controls board is an interface between your driver controls and the Tritium Gold power controller. The controls board communicates with the power controller using a simple RS485 bus standard, and also had provision to interface with RS232 devices such as radio modems, data loggers, and PCs, using a standard DB9 connector. The RS485 bus is also buffered onto a ribbon cable header for connection to our Gold Driver Display modules.

It provides a reliable, robust digital interface to the solar car's driver, with a digital encoder for speed/throttle input and up to 10 switch inputs.

RS485 LCD & LED Displays

The Tritium Gold LCD multifunction display is a simple, reliable, inexpensive module designed to operate in tandem with the Gold Driver Controls board. The display has large 13mm high digits, with very high contrast, and can display a value from -1999 to 1999, with approprate decimal places as required. Each display unit can display four different variables, with the most popular version showing Throttle, Road Speed, Bus Voltage, and Motor Current. As many displays as needed can be chained together, each showing a seperate variable. This allows the user to have a few or as many displays as they require from the bare minimum to a complete display fitout.

The Tritium Gold Drive Status display is another in our series of modules designed to operate with the driver controls board and the LCD Multifunction Display. The status display uses sunlight visible LEDs to indicate the current operating mode of the gold controller. It also shows the status of the left and right indicator outputs, if this expansion module is fitted to the gold controller.
