IQcell Battery Management System
Description
The IQcell System is an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) comprised of two products, an Intelligent Quad Cell (IQcell) controller and a battery Pack Master controller. They function together to control the vehicle battery pack.
The IQcell System equalizes all the cells in the battery pack during the charging cycle and reports the cells' voltages and temperatures. This information is used by the charger and the motor controller to limit battery current and hence cell voltage during both driving and charging operations.

IQcell controller
The IQcell controller is currently available for ThunderSky 60Ah cells. A generic version suitable for a wide variety of cell types is in development. Each BMS node manages four cells, creating an Intelligent Quad Cell (IQcell) 12V battery. Up to 950V worth of IQcell batteries can be connected in series to form the vehicle's traction battery pack.
